"Northern Ridge did a large flooring project for us, removing all dried out (warped) hardwood flooring and replacing with a high end vinyl plank product from Floor and Décor in our lower level (3 large rooms). This included demo, patching our concrete slab, vapor barrier, laying new 2x4 sleepers, foam board insultation, subflooring, installing vinyl plank and new baseboards. It was a big job that we'd be saving up to complete. Lee, the carpenter, arrived every morning promptly at 730AM and did high quality work. Our home is from the 50s and certainly has many odd shapes to navigate. Brian, the owner, checked in often and arrived to help delivery materials and lay flooring. The invoice system was easy to use to pay our costs along the way. Communication, customer service and craftmanship were all top notch - would easily recommend and use again. The finished photos say it all!"

"The concept of providing both carpentry and painting is a good one. I had many rotted corner boards and several rotted clapboards. I tried for over a year to find a contractor to fix the rotted boards, and after I would the need to find a painter. None of the contractors got back to me.
So, when I received Northern Ridge’s mailing that they would do both, I was very interested. It is a great convenience to the homeowner.
A day after I contacted Northern Ridge, I was called and an appointment was made for several days later to estimate the work. The estimate was received within a few days.
The process was easy. The proposal was accepted and a probable start date was established, all by e-mail. Northern Ridge immediately answered my questions. Northern Ridge also matched the preferred color of stain from one brand to another. They started the job earlier than I expected. Owner Brian and Project Manager Cole were professional and easy to deal with.
First, the power washed the whole house. Next the carpenters replaced the rotted boards. They were followed by the painting crew. Both the carpenters and painters were top notch. They arrived early, worked hard all day, and worked late. They did not play loud music or talk loudly to disturb the neighbors. They were respectful, friendly, careful, and professional. They responded to our questions, and discussed the work with us. They did quality work on all aspects of the job. They paid close attention to detail. I was especially impressed with the quality of the painting on the trim and doors.
After the job was completed and the invoice paid, I saw one cracked board that wasn’t replaced. It was in a kind of noticeable location. The house is rather large and the scope of the work was big, so missing one board was understandable. I asked about replacing and painting it. Without hesitation, Northern Ridge agreed to this, and they and completed this work within days.
I recommend Northern Ridge.
I am thinking about some interior painting, which the do from November to April, and will contact Northridge about the job when I am ready to do it."
